AstroWorkBench Free Software
I have made the following applications available as part of my AstroWorkBench (AWB) family of software applications. These are applications that I have written over the years and use for my observational sessions. No nag screens, no adverts, no payments - they are just free!

Note: These applications run on Windows and use Microsoft .Net and the Microsoft SQL Server Compact database. If your computer does not have these frameworks (runtimes) already installed the installers will prompt you to accept their automatic installation from the Microsoft Web Site. You do not have to do any anything to achieve this; just accept the prompts.

AstroWorkBench (AWB)

This is a suite of over twenty screens that show solar system and deep sky objects that are observable for any date, time and location. It also contains many other utilities and lots of reference data. More details are available here.

AWB Planisphere

This application draws a planisphere for your location at any date and time. The limiting magnitudes of the stars and their names to display may be specified along with options to display the planets and Messier, Caldwell and NGC objects. More details are available here.

AWB Constellations

This application provides detailed star charts for each of the constellations with many options for object display. More details are available here.

AWB Scope Calculations

This application calculates some fundamental figures for you scope, eyepiece and CCD configurations. More details are available here.
